Cement: the spanner in the works at Wembley

It has been revealed that the use of the wrong sort of concrete is accountable for the some of the delays endured by the Wembley construction debacle.

An inappropriate type of concrete was originally used to support the signature arch outside the famous grounds; although a checking system discovered the error, the subsequent removal and refilling caused considerable delay to the beleaguered project.
