School construction unearths ancient man

Construction work on a school in Cheddar has uncovered the body of a 2000 year-old man who, aside from unfortunately having his lower half removed by a digger, remains in good condition. The style of the burial suggests that the man was a Pagan rather than Christian and whilst the body has been removed for further investigations there is no evidence to suggest it formed part of a burial site.

Construction has re-commenced on site with the school due for completion by September 2006.
