Disability access in conflict with environmental protection

The future of a 13.5km path around Loch Leven has come under question following intervention by Scottish Natural Heritage who has expressed concern over the potential impact on wildlife.

The £1.5m project is reliant on grant money that may be retracted if work does not begin by a given date; campaigners are concerned that the late intervention by the SNH may result in limited disability access to the scenic, and historical area.
