ConstructionSpace supplies office building in just six weeks

ConstructionSpace, the new web-based service launched by Foremans Relocatable Building Systems for the purchase and supply of modular buildings, has provided two-storey office accommodation for ship repair and conversion specialists A&P Group on Tyneside, in just six weeks.

The 9,600sqft building was previously used to accommodate airside administrative operations for an airline at Newcastle Airport. When it became surplus to the airport’s requirements, Foremans decommissioned and dismantled the building into its modular units, which were then relocated to A&P’s dock facility at Hebburn. The modules were craned into position and refurbished ready for occupation by one of A&P’s customer teams from the off-shore oil industry.

The ConstructionSpace website – lists the current stock of modular buildings, and provides photographs, specifications and layouts, reducing the time taken in sourcing accommodation. Applications include project offices, single site cabins, toilet and shower blocks, training and induction rooms and security offices.

In addition to its sales service, ConstructionSpace will consider purchasing modular buildings, and offers a flexible buyback option for any building supplied.
